  Official Complaint Snappy Food #5 2607 TX-35 BUS Aransas Pass, TX 78336 1.) An employee became severely sick and was not able to get her shift received by the manager. After many attempts by the employee, both the manager and assistant manager turned off their phones. 2.) Customers are being told to "speak English because this is America." The customer tries hard to speak English but the employee said blah, blah, blah go back to Mexico. The manager was made aware and she did or agree it was a racial slur. 3.) The managers have been witnesses stealing from Snappy Foods. Every time money comes up short is after one of the manager’s work. Then instead of finding the money she changes the numbers on their paperwork and frame an employee. Therefore making the employees pay for the missing money which is usually 1/4 our paycheck. And they eat and drink merchandise without paying for it, but if employees do it they get fired. 4.) Very unsanitary. There is a sewage leak where feces is coming out of the KITCHEN drain. Even with this happening management wants their employees to make food in the area. This place needs to be shut down until the problem is resolved. There are many health code violations that need to be address IMMEDIATLY. The owner of snappy store #5 refuses to get a licensed plumber. Management does not allow employees to sit down during a 10 hour shift. The employees are treated unfairly and feels very unappreciated. If they are caught sitting down, the employee is threaten by termination. Finally, employees have been told when a robbery occurs the cashier must pay back what was stolen.
